Field Suggestions

There are lots of fields in Stash Hub that offer field suggestions when you’re entering information about your fabric and patterns. For Fabrics these fields include colours, fabric types and location and Patterns include designers and garment types. You may find you end up with duplicates or similar entries (e.g. Multicolour and Multicoloured) or wish to correct a mistake. Use Field Suggestions to tidy up your drop-down lists and filters.

How to manage Field Suggestions

There are two ways you can access your field suggestions:

1. Head to Main Menu > Settings > Field Suggestions – here you can edit all the fields
2. **Open a Record > Scroll to the field you want to edit > Tap Manage **– this allows you to edit the options for one particular field

How to edit Field Suggestions

• Edit – Tap on the pencil icon to edit a suggestion (e.g. change ‘greeb’ to green’). When you’ve finished editing tap the tick to confirm. Before the update is saved, there will be a pop-up reminding you which records use this field entry and will be updated once you tap ‘Update’.
• Delete – Delete suggestions by tapping on the bin icon. This will remove this suggestion from all the records it is currently assigned to. There will be a pop-up to show all the records that this will be removed from.
• Add – Tap the plus button in the bottom right to add a new suggestion. This will show in the drop down list when you start typing in this field when editing a record.
