Adding Notes

The Notes record type is a great way to capture information you might want to reference later. This could be things like:

  • Tutorials
  • Favourite shops
  • Upcoming events
  • General ideas

Creating a note

Tap the plus button at the bottom right to create a new note.

As with other record types in Stash Hub you can add Tags as another layer of organisation to your notes. These can then be used to filter your notes. You can also use search to find the relevant note you're looking for quickly.

Adding images to Notes

You can add images to Note records in the same way as other records. In View mode, there is a link option to add an image. In Edit Mode there is a button. Open an image to edit or delete it.

Images are shown at the top of the Note record and the first image is displayed on the Notes page.

Adding images to Notes could be useful for:

  • Showing details of techniques
  • Attaching event flyers
  • Recording machine stitches, settings or instructions
  • Saving colour palettes

Linking Notes to Projects

You can link a Note record to a Project. In the project tap 'Add linked note' and select the note you want to link. You also have the option to create a new project or link to an existing project from within the Note record.

Projects have a Notes field to jot down any information just relating to that project. Creating a Note record and linking it to a Project is useful for notes that you may need to refer to for multiple projects. Here are a few examples:

  • Tutorial for full bust adjustment on a darted bodice
  • Swimwear sewing techniques
  • Machine settings for particular stitches
